Mural for the Lake Trail Community School Society.

This quick and joyful project was directed by middle school kids and painted in one day with the community. My friend Fredi designed the shape of the mural and Peatr cut the plywood panels.

Students offered us their mural ideas in exchange for ice cream sandwiches. These were their suggestions:
– person asking the sun to rise
– rainbows
– butterflies
– trilliums
– sunrise/sunset
– cougar with flowers on its back
– bear with a paintbrush
– trees
– swirls
– morrison creek lamprey
– bisexual flag salmon
